So I've done mine on looks and connecting/bond with the MC - now I've probably done v a disservice here but she's not had enough screen time and theres also some characters missing so I just went off what was there

I don't think they'd hire her for the FART initiative ...
The animations got worse in this update, so much time waiting for a proper reyna and paige scene and it ended up being poor. more money, more time and a worse product. I hope it improves for the next updates.

Easier way is to move the persistent file out of the save folder, also the back up of it in the users/appdata renpy folder. Move or delete them, I would prefer to just move them somewhere so if something goes wrong you just put them back where they were.
You also "lose" the seen text skipping/content you saw and the settings/options of the game because those are usually saved in the persistent file.
The harder way is using URM and search those persistent variables and change them 1 by 1 from true to false hehe.
The same thing happens to me though I do have the mod installed but if it happens to you it's a game problem then.

we are still waiting for a bug fix patch and there are a few solutions to pass that, use URM and set SDCARD variables to true.
Yeah there are a LOT of errors in the game right now. Ran into errors like 10 times and I'm mid way through episode 4. I've had to spam ignore error so many times and missed a lot of dialogue. Kind of sucks because I haven't played this game in 3 years and forgot a lot of the dialogue. Guess I should've waited for the first patch, But this was/is my favorite VN of all time so was hard for me to wait.
Meh I've already waited so long for this update i'll just wait for the update patch. Those who want can tweak it with URM
The solution on page 529 worked for me, you need to redo this every time you start the game. Open the console (assuming you have enabled it) and type:

There was a section about bad rendering in chapter 1 or something upon launch of the update and part of me wonders if it was meant for that section instead lol. I know the dev has had very unfortunate and difficult hardships with their eyesight IRL, and I pretty much attributed the few renders and farmers market segment to probably be partly caused due to those issues.
Could be totally wrong and it could have just been a crunch section because it has been so long at this point since the last update and everyone was yelling from the rooftops that "this title is completely done, abandoned, never getting updated" yadayada that they just let it ride instead of redoing it. Which is also completely possible.

Thought the update was fantastic, yeah the animated scenes werent top notch like usual but again genuine horrible IRL things to deal with like vision loss is one of the most legitimate reasons for someone to have problems developing a title like this. Still absolutely shines in every way in comparison to majority of AVNs, even for how much lesser-quality the animations were, they were still leagues above most. I got a couple great laughs from the banter & humor. I how consistent the growth of Artemis is, the writing didnt slouch at any points, it was mostly consistent with previous iterations. Also making good progression on the story and getting closer to the Expo. Honestly, was expecting 1/4th the update in content because thats kind of how stuff goes unfortunately, but I was pleasantly surprised and fulfilled with the release of a full chapter. Cant wait for the next one.
Do you think Kandice and Davide were referring to Artemis as “the old project” in their chat? If so, why? One or both of her girls might be androids — they mentioned in Chapter 5 that the fencing program is working well after the girls faced off.

Think the girls are programmed "bots" with a set personality/protocol, but this is just a tin foil guess, also thought they came off a bit 'robotic.' As far as the fencing program would wager it was about the project that is Artemis, and a functional AI but not fully clued in on what Artemis is yet. The support for that I would use is that when the MC is brought up to have worked on Koko with Kindra. That seemed to be a moment that piqued her curiosity and gave her a bit of pause. Koko's showing at the Expo will probably change everything, along with the possibility of Artemis being "stumbled upon" haha.
As far as the girls tho and reasoning I doubt her girls are AI android, is because we see all the complexities with Artemis and her overheating, processing, yadayada. Seems like the tech wasn't fully there yet with Enzo and Nora, they were only at the preliminary phase so to speak.
