I'd love to see a match between an all-star selection of these athletes and an all-star selection of regular football, obviously with the band on the eyes. It would have a HUGE impact on the popularity of this sport. Also wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basket would be great with this concept.
I really hope there will some kind of initiative of this type in the future paraolympics.
I feel like the sighted players would struggle to not kick the ball up in the air - I noticed the blind players always keep it on the ground. Honestly, though, so long as the sighted team keeps the ball in the ground, I think these two blind teams could win against most sighted teams even without them being blindfolded lol

They should have a match with a team of famous footballers vs these guys; all blindfolded. It would be interesting to see if the famous footballers would be any good in comparison.
Oh yeah, they would absolutely destroy the pro footballers blindfolded no doubt. This takes years of skill and practice to learn how to locate things and orient themselves on the field

Its amazing how well their other senses take play in the game. Being able to use their hearing and touch to be able to find, kick, and pass the ball so well.

You know that you fell in a very deep point in your career when you become a goalkeeper for blind people
They also have terrible vision. They can have 20/200 at best. Meaning in a ordinary vision test, they will only be able to read the biggest letter (at best!).
